A simple creation really. Just mac and cheese between Texas Toast. Oh did I mention its truffle mac and cheese? Oops, I also left out that its a five cheese sauce with extra Fontina cheese. Let's break this down. Texas toast isn't the grilled piece of toast you used to get a places like Sizzler, its a double thick slice of usually white bread. Works out great when you need some extra backbone in a sandwich. You need it here because this is loaded with some amazing mac and cheese. The truffle five cheese sauce is really a star here, smooth and creamy, tons of flavor from the cheeses and what I'm guessing is a bit of truffle oil. What puts this sandwich over the top is the Fontina cheese. Fontina is a semi-soft rich cheese that "melts well". by melts well I mean it gets those lovely strings of melted cheese when its hot. This sandwich is big to, easily enough to split of you're eating light. Synopses: Just a killer sandwich!
