Hot Mess ($9)

Deep fried hot link with grilled red peppers and onions on a baguette with what I can only describe as The Hottest Mayo on Planet Earth! The link had a nice crunch to it because of the deep frying and the baguette was also fresh and crunchy. Menu had Swiss cheese on this sandwich but I didn't see any. Onions and peppers were done just right. That atomic powered mayo is just too hot though. The heat was like getting sucker punched in August in a Houston parking lot. For the first time in my life I found something just too hot for me to finish. I'll give the operator props, he did warn me that it was hot, but damn, this was just too hot. Synopsis: get the mayo on the side otherwise its just too hot!

Soul Cat ($8)

A good looking corn meal breaded catfish fillet on a good bun with greens, seasoned mayo, tomato and American cheese. Think of it as good version of the fillet-o-fish. I think on this one the fish was a little underdone. The outside was great, but inside it was not quite flaky and tasted a bit raw fishy. Another 30 seconds of cooking and this would have been a great fish sandwich, but underdone it was just good. Synopsis: Go for it, I'm guessing the under cooking was an anomaly.

Sweet Potato Fries ($6)

Asked for the fries extra crunchy and that's what we got.  These thick cut fries had a little breading which worked and a light dusting of Cajun seasoning that wasn't over powering. Synopsis: well done and recommended.
